US History: Imperialism & WWI (1898–1919)

📗Wednesday — Feb 4

Thesis Statements continued:
Liking your job is not that important. A job is mainly a way to earn money. Most people work because they have to, not because they enjoy it. Expecting a job to be enjoyable is unrealistic.
Technology has made people lazy. Many people rely on technology instead of thinking for themselves. Simple tasks are harder without a phone or computer. Technology has reduced basic skills.
Education does not matter as much as people think. Many successful adults did not do well in school. Real life teaches more than classrooms do. Education is not the main reason people succeed.
Planning ahead is a waste of time. Life changes too quickly for plans to matter. Many plans never work out anyway. Focusing on the present makes more sense.
